I agree with the previous reviewer. Campsites were too tight and unkept. There was no hot water in the ladies bathhouse in the pool house. The pool water seemed clean but there was broken rusty steps entering the pool. There was dog poo on our campsite and one dog was not on a leash and knocked down my 2 year old. Luckily the dog just was overly friendly. They overcharged us and argue that we purchased the site one day before the promotion. Which is not what they stated on the phone. There is an obvious disconnect between call center and the folks working at the campsite. On a positive note the campground has a lot of potential. The walking trail at the base of the hill and creek was gorgeous.

This campground is located in a great place. Lots of things to so around the area. However there is no golf course, (which they claim on the website) the indoor pool is suppose to be heated, was freezing cold. I was told the heater has been broke for 2 years. The week we stayed their the outdoor pools pump broke down so the pool was closed. The campsites are nice and large but have very little trees for shade. I have a pop-up and like shade. Ther is suppose to be security and there was no one in the both the whole time I was there. This campground was wonderful when I was a kid and hope that some day a good owner can get in there and fix things.

This review is based on a drive-thru observation by my family which was done the beginning of April 2006. From the main road leading to the campground it look like a huge trailer park with many seasonal sites. The people who greated us at the entrance were very friendly and stated that the park had just be bought by a management company who had also bought 16 other campgrounds. They also stated that they are planning major renovations to the campground over the next couple of years. The campground at this time is in need of many updates such as the playgrounds, indoor and outdoor pool and leveling of sites. Many of the buildings need exterior and interior repair. The owner should also begin thinning out the seasonal campers that are beginning to become unkept (many though looked brand new) and making the sites larger. The campground property itself if huge and the loss of some sites should not affect the income but should enhance the type of campers who wish to enjoy this campground. Although at this time we would not stay at this campground, with the proper renovations this campground should once again be one that many who had stayed at the campground when they were young will frequent again along with new campers.
