We stopped here for an overnight stay on our way to Florida and wished that we could have stayed longer. We had a large pull-through site which was very spacious. The bathroom was old but very clean. The staff was friendly and check-in was very quick. There is a fishing pond, and swimming area (although I am not sure what the swimming season is). There were a handful of sites with trailers on them but not occupied so I not sure if they leave them there seasonally or not. Anyway, these were all well kept. We loved that there were both palm trees on our site as well as trees with that beautiful moss hanging from there. Free wifi connection was excellent and the cable choices were great. The park was easy to find via GPS. We hope to return for a longer stay. It was certainly well maintained for a county park.

Great park. Staff is helpful, sites are large and bathrooms are clean. Great trails to walk the dog and bird watch. What a gem!

Have visited here twice-- separated by one year. Both visits about as ideal as it can get: quiet, spacious site, clean bathhouse. I have told other Aliner owners about Blythe Island Regional and explained that I would go out of my way to return.

Blythe Island Regional Park is my first choice in the area. It's a county run park. Easy to get to and from 95, big sites. A mix of pull thru, back in, partial and full hook ups. Park is wooded with a lake and pier. Biggest downside are the mosquitos, but in that respect no campground in the area would be better then the other.

Just returned from Brunswick Ga., Stayed at Blythe Island Regional Park. It's a county park on Blythe Island 7 miles to Jekyll Island, about 15 miles to St Simons Island, 3 To Brunswick. Great campground very clean restrooms (cleaned 2 times a day) Camp sites were big and spaced wide apart. Flat sites with Water,Ele. and Cable TV if you take one like we do. the only bad thing is be prepared for SAND NATS. Fees are $23.00 a night $138 for a week If you would like to go to the Golden Ise of Ga.I would stay here. BEST CAMPGROUND IN BRUNSWICK GA.
