A train is literally a stones throw away and surrounds the park. It goes thru several times a day and twice in the middle of the night, got very little sleep. It is a city park where everyone not staying there comes in to fish. People fly thru the park all the time and there is never anyone around to stop it. I will not stay here again.

We stayed here 3 days in July hoping Branson wasn't as hot as the Dallas area. We were met with hot, muggy weather, but the location was ideal on the river waterfront. It has no pool, but does have a fishing dock and a brief walk to the entertaining Branson Landing that boasts a dynamite water and fire show right on the river front located among a pleasant boardwalk of great stores and restaurants. The staff are ultra friendly. The only drawback is that due to its great location, it is very crowded with rigs and parked trucks and cars.

We stayed at this campground for years while I was growing up and camping with my folks, and then again after my husband and I were married and had our own camper. It is convenient to downtown area (and now the new Landing Project) and to all backroads to get around the congestion of the "strip". It is clean, level, etc. Even though they do not have a pool there, it was very nice. Of all of the campgrounds in the area this was my favorite. They also have a "rally" area with a large shelterhouse and have added Cable TV hookups to their sites. For the money it is a great place to stay.
