What can you say? It is right on the beach and so pretty. The only downside is it is right on A1A and there is traffic noise also seemed like a lot of retired people almost living in the park, moving from site to site to stay there. If you want a good view try to get sites 17 or 19, 21 is good but right next to the bathroom. 13, 15 & 23 are also good.

Nice campground if you want to be on the oceanfront. The first sites have more buffer between them, but that same scrub blocks your view of the ocean while sitting on your campsite. The sites after 11 have a good ocean view but none to very little buffer between sites. The tent sites at the end can fit pop-ups and some smaller trailers/motorhomes, but they have lots of scrub blocking the view also. None of the sites are very deep, didn't see any rigs longer than 35ft while we were there. The bath house is completed now and was kept clean, water pressure was not too good. There are hiking paths, boat ramp, picnic shelters, kayak rentals across A1A from the campsites. There is a good bike sidewalk all the way to Flagler Beach pier, about 3 miles.

We went back to this park in March of '05. As of that time the bathroom facility was being torn down and rebuilt. I am sure it's complete by now. There had been lots of beach erosion from the recent hurricanes when we were there, howevere still a very nice campground.

My family goes here a lot. Bathrooms: I have seen better but they are ok, not filthy, next to dump station so it can be smelly sometimes. Sites: If you can get on the beach side most have a good view, there is NO shade as you are just feet from the beach. Some sites have some shrubs to offer privacy, but not much. Best to not be downwind from the dump station, it gets stinky especially if someone is using it. All sites are sand and have fire pit/picnic table and electric and water. Other: Mere steps from the beach! Shopping near by. Book early, sites fill up fast since there are so few of them.
