First let me say we were here on Thanksgiving weekend so the place was packed, so maybe another less crowded weekend would not be so bad. The wooded setting is very pretty however this campground is just a big parking lot in the woods...your site is everybodys site. There is a nice 3 mile paved road under a canopy of trees to ride your bike or walk/run on, and probably would be okay if you didn't have to compete with vehicles while doing so. Off that road is lots of extra little hiking paths that take you through the hammock. The roads and sites in the campground looked as though they turn to mud holes when it rains, you could see where tires got stuck all over the place...thank goodness it was dry while we were there. It is possible we'd give this place another try, but never on a holiday weekend again.

Well this park was nice, it had lots to do here but the campsites were a bit too close and no privacy whatsoever. Not to mention the electric/water for the sites were all over the place, it was very confusing to figure out where exactly your site was. The bathrooms are a flashback to the 60's (and I wasn't even alive in the 60's)! Lets just say I had to bend over to wash my hair, and I'm no jolly green giant, I'm only 5'10. Lots of shade trees and oh my gosh so many pop ups! I don't think I have seen so many in one place before! The staff here was very nice and they had a great playground at the campsites. I don't think we'll be going back there anytime soon though, it wasn't anything special and the bathrooms alone leave much to be desired.
