The cabins are G&L frendly. They had a wonderful gay marriage last summer, lasted all weekend

Careful of your turn in to the park. Check in was a breeze. Staff was very courteous. Recommend reservations though or else you might not get a spot. Campsite we had was level and large. Showers/bath house well maintained. Great place for bikes, easy to navigate. Will be back.

tent-campers, actually from April 2007. Campsites were close together, but ours was within a stone's throw to the bathhouse and the stream, so we could easily overlook the close neighbors. Sites are first come-first served, so come early in the day. There was a nice walking trail on the hill and one around the lake. Plus this park is very close to several other state parks and the appalachian trail. The unexpected snowfall made for an extra special experience.

Spent 3 nights there. Nice park and we enjoyed it. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. The park was full and very busy but I never saw anyone else using them. We got there about 2:00 pm on Saturday and only had a couple of camp sites to choose from (had reservations for about 3 months). The site we chose was very private and the comfort station was close, just over the hill behind the site. Only problem was it was on a hill so nobody else wanted it. We thought we try it and it paid off great. Once we got backed in and up, the site was very level didn't even need anything to level side-to-side. Next time I go it will be durring the week. The weekend is just too busy. We stayed until Tuesday and by Monday everyone started leaving. On Monday night the camp ground was at least half empty and we had no neighbors in sight.
