Stayed in Fort Pickens campground. Nice, big park. Sites were spacious had asphault pads with concrete tire stoppers, fire pits, picnic tables. You are allowed to string up a clothesline between trees. There were also lots of trees-I don't think any site that I saw were in direct sunlight. Bathrooms left a little to be desired! Our loop bathroom was cleaned from 10:45-12:00 each day. But by the evening, there was no tp! I never did get a warm shower-but that was okay because it was so hot. Due to the wet weather we had, the bathroom seemed to stay dirty/muddy. Area was really great. Fort was fun for both adults and kids. I'm not a history buff, but did find this place quite fascinating! The beaches are very beautiful and the bay is very calm-lots of hermit crabs walking around! Was a good time and would go back to this park.
