|| This was a beautiful park. Blackwater River is known to have some of the purest sand bottom is all the world, and it was great! Your feet sunk to your ankles in the sand while in the river.
The bath house needed a little help, but was overall fine. Water and electric were on different sides of the site, at least in ours they were. No wash station to wash dishes. There was a clothes line for you to hang wet items.
There is a canoe/kayak/tubing rental outfit right outside the park. At that place, you can buy drinks, supplies, etc. But other than that, and The Harold Store-about four miles from the park, there are no other establishments around.
Overall, we'd go back to this park. It is really pretty and the parks' beach is big enough for the "crowd" we had there. |
