Nothing really special here. They advertise 2 canoe trips per day but actually they only have 1. And they only have 16 canoes so you have to book your trip weeks in advance. Charge for canoes are 23 per canoe. Pool charges 5 dollars for adults and 3 for kids. Alot of the older side of the campgrounds is unkept with waist high grass and last of all the lake has a leak, most places you must walk through 15 to 20 feet of mud to reach the lake edge. And you must drive or walk 2 miles from the campsite to reach the pool or swinging bridge. Now for the plus side lots of trail to walk on. With all the large stones everywhere it reminds you alot of the smoky mts. They don't enforce rules so its park where you like. They do have a new shower house that was nice(warning the lights work on motion sensors I took a shower late one night and the lights went out on me had to step out of the shower stall and wave my arms to get the lights back on) and the staff are very friendly

We just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay. We loved the small campground! It is right on a small lake which was perfect for our porta-boat! There were no restrictions on the number of campers per site so our BIL and SIL and their kids spent two nights in a tent with us. The bathrooms were really clean and nice the first 24-36 hours we were there but when the weekend hit..... well it was not great. We just used our porta-potty and endured the showers. All in all it was one of our favorite campgrounds. The kids all caught Brim and one even caught a really small Large mouth bass.
