||This is the first site we've stayed at that was in the heart of a tourist area. We prefer a more isolated area, closer to nature if we have our choice. However, if you're looking for a place to spend with the kids and/or grandkids in the summer and want plenty of things to see and do this is it. ATTENTION LADIES: lots of outlet malls, give a whole new meaning to "shop til you drop." Although there were several other parks in the area I would heartily recommend this park due to the attitude of the people and the cleanliness. 238 sites. 144W, 59S, 144E (20/30 amps)
Swimming pool, fire rings, recreation room, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, playground, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, camp store, propane, cable tv, 24 hr security, firewood, dump station.
The roads through the campground are very poorly marked and poorly lighted and are very difficult to negotiate at night. CG right off main road in town..
Very nice CG as far as natural beauty. While the area we were in was in an open field, there was another area that was in among the trees.
The entire group of people we dealt with in the office and in the campground itself, were friendly, helpful, accomodating and hard working. The really neat thing was they all seemed to really enjoy their work and it showed.
. All of the facilities and the campgrounds itself were kept very neat and clean. |
