I've stayed at a few of the campgrounds in the area and this seems to be the best one. The staff is constantly cleaning the grounds and maintaining the sites. There is definitely a lot of preparation in getting the place ready for the season. The weekends usually see the place filling up but they stay on top of things.

We made reservations and paid for 2 nights, but only stayed one night as the electric was not working properly at our site. We moved to a different site and had the same problem. The campground refused to give us our money back as they stated they never issue refunds. They tried to claim it wasn't their fault. Also, the sites had not been mowed and had trash left over from the previous campers. At first we thought it was an issue with the electric system in our motorhome, but we returned home and it was fine and it has been fine ever since. Very disappointing to be treated like this. We would obviously never stay here again!

I think the first review of this campground is dated and inaccurate. I believe they do have some full hookup sites available, and there was no security card for a gate that we had to pay for. The campground is very clean, there are trash cans near each site and they are emptied daily. They also discourage burning trash in your fire ring, which I like that. Some sites have concrete patios. Nice playground for the kids and the pool was clean. Friendly office people escorted us to our site and helped us park, and refilled our propane when we ran out. Shower/restroom air conditioned and very clean. The campground was quiet and the sites were decent-sized. Nearby large cemetery was great for walking/exercise, and interesting headstones if you are into that.

This is a very nice hometown type of feel campground with the amenities of the larger campgrounds. They are very helpfull and friendly. We rented the group site and had a wonderful time. the really nice thing is that they really keep up on the cleaning and the place is always kept really nice we enjoyed the pool and shop as well as the showers as they are roomy and well kept.

350 total spaces. 100w, 120E. No sewer sites but they do have a mobile sewer service. Restrooms and showers, dump site, security gate, public phone, laundry, ltd grocers and RV supplies, LP gas, firewood, heated pool, shuffleboard, horseshoes, game room, playground, rec field. No sewer sites. No discounts of any kind. Had to rent an electronic card for the security gate at the cost of $10. However, the money is refunded when you leave. Easy to get into. If you are checking in, wait at the gate and they will push a button that opens the gate. If it's after hours, follow the directions on the sign. Very nice campground. Lots of trees. The owners and employees were very nice. The laundry room consisted of 2 washers and 2 dryers. The room was not as clean as the overall condition of the park.
