This was our second stop here so we knew what we were getting. The sites are expensive($50) for the 30 amp unlevel field they put you in. The sites are not well-defined and somewhat hard to tell where your site ends and the next begins. The only positive I can think of is they serve great huckleberry ice cream.

Our campsite area was an unimproved, undulating grass area having only water and electric. Very difficult to try to level our motorhome. Internet access was on the cheap by using a common self-installed, home-style access point with a range of about 50 feet. One sits in the lobby or on the porch to use it. The contrast between this KOA and the West Glacier KOA is stunning. It is an embarrassment to the KOA name.

Great views of Glacier Ntl Park and surrounding mountains. This gravel campground has mostly unlevel spots (very unlevel). The staff was very good. WIFI only available in the office area. Had outdoor hot tubs. Only complaint was the women's shower drain backed up when more than one person in the shower.

We stopped at the Glacier National Park Visitor Center to see if we could get in any of the campgrounds with the "condo". All the park's campgrounds have 30 feet or less restrictions (we checked them out later and it would have been impossible for us to get in. I even had some problems maneuvering the truck). A park ranger suggested several nearby commercial facilities. We decided to stay at the St. Mary KOA where we had our choice of sites. We selected one on the end giving us a huge living area and a clear view of the mountains. Our cost was $29.00 (05/00).
