I agree with the other review for this campground. Extremely noisy and close together. Mostly partying all night long. Our area was not even close to being level. Basically anything goes on here all night long, except stay off the grass! Needs to be closed and worked on.

Received from Gary for visit in 2006

Stayed in Kendall Campground. This is a Corps of Engineers campground located on Hwy 127 south of Jamestown, Ky. Also, it is at the Wolf Creek Dam and National Fish Hatchery on Lake Cumberland. I recently stayed there a week and I am having a hard time finding anything good to say about it. They only have two bath houses, one with laundry facilities, and if you wait till evening to take a shower, you will be standing in line waiting. The campsites are close together and there is very little privacy to be found when staring in someones back window. There is not anything for the children to do in the CG, not even a playground located inside the campground, except maybe ride their bikes. You can fish for trout in the Cumberland River below the dam or in the stream coming out of the hatchery. The smell of raw sewage was terrible while we were there. My sister came to visit and they charged her $3.00 just to get into the campground. If you have a large RV or motorhome you will probably have trouble backing into a campsite, although some campsites have room for a boat, everything must be kept inside the perimeter of the campsite. If you park your boat on the grass beside your campsite, you will be asked to move it or get a citation. The best thing I can say about the campsites is, they are level and graveled. I won't be going back to this one.
