Great campground! Sites are laid out wonderfully so that they are easy to back in to. Sites are such that your awning is turned away from the next site and you're not looking at the back side of the next camper. Several loops are Full hookup (elec, h20, sewer). Facilities are clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly & accommodating (we arrived one day early). Plenty of activities- we love to hike & bike. Several playgrounds offer a safe place for the kids to play.

We only stayed one night due to the skunks. We had to eat inside because they would even come up on the picnic table 4-5 at a time. One man and one dog were sprayed while we were there. The man was sprayed as he came out of the restrooms too quickly.

This is probably my favorite place to camp. They have about 133 campsites, all with water and electric, most of them shaded at one time of day or another. Planned activities for children, a swimming pool in the campground that doesn't cost to get in if you are camping. During the summer, they most always have some type of activity on the weekends, such as bands, wildlife shows, ect. The CG has a section especially for campers with horses and plenty of trails to ride or to hike. The marina has boats to rent and a wide boat ramp to launch your own boat. The CG has a dump station and three bath houses, two with laundry facilities, which are always clean. They have a cave to explore and a new golf course, as well as a lodge with a pool for the non campers. Wildlife can be seen in the park, deer, turkey, and eagles mostly, along with a few skunks and racoons. The campground is located on Dale Hollow Lake along the Ky-Tn border. The lake is a great fishery for smallmouth bass also. We have stayed here a number of times over the past 15 years.
