The general layout of the park was nice and although things looked a little old they appeared to be fairly clean. The park was built around a small lake (which we learned was created when they strip-mined in the area many years ago.) The owner and his wife were extremely gracious, helful people who were always ready to lend a helping hand. They were even concerned enough about our welfare to put up a sign reminding people to be sure their hitches were secure. Roads leading into CG started out good and got less so as you approached the CG. The last stretch into the park were gravel roads with lots of run-off ruts. The CG was situated in a valley and was just lovely, there was a small lake that you could swim in. The owner and his wife were on premise and were very friendly and helpful. While I realize things do happen, when we were there the waterline had broken and the owner had dug holes all over trying to find the break. Most of the time we had no water, but when we did it was brown. They said this was due to minerals in the water. Plus there is no laundromat. The road leading up out of the CG, which is gravel, is about a 6% grade it was REAL interesting.
