A jewel of a campground! Friendly helpful staff, well maintained clean sites, wild turkeys and deer roam the grounds daily: truly very nice. "Winchester" steakhouse is a nice two block walk away, and its a MUST eat there! We stayed for a week in a pickup camper.

This park is great. Our lot was nicely sized & level for our 38' fifth wheel and F450. The staff & other customers were very pleasant & helpful. During our stay in August 2009, we had several cable channels, the pool & spa were clean. The local businesses such as stores were just down the road. We will definately stay here again.

We are new to RVing and our first trip was to Cozy Acres Campground in Powatan VA. We chose this campground because it's only about 45 minutes from our house. For first timers we couldn't have made a better choise. This CG is family run and everyone was very helpful. All sites are pull through. Some have patios and one even has a gazebo with 2 porch swings and a table that will seat about 10. There are picnic tables at each site and a fire ring. They have 3 pond. Two are catch and release ponds and the other is a stocked catfish pond (additional charge for this one). They have a great playground and a nice pool area. I can't say enough about the folks who own and run this campground. The owner's son followed us to our site and made sure we knew how to set up. I'm sure we will be back many times this summer and in summer's to come.

Excellent directions, large signs marking the park Roads into the park and inside the park were good. Very pretty. Lots of trees and well off the roadway to allow lots of quiet. Very accommodating and friendly owners. Everything was very clean and well maintained. There is a historic area in town that has several museums. Also about 20 miles north there is Ft. Phil Kearny. It was one of the army forts built to protect the settlers against the indians. Although there is nothing left of the fort, they have done a good job with the visitors center in presenting the story of the fort and the people who manned it. There is a small restaurant in town called the Winchester House. Be sure you don't miss their steaks.
