The setting is beautiful but we were trapped inside so we had to admire the creek through the window. Mosquitoes were everywhere !

We planed to stay a couple of days, but stayed a week! A moderate rugged hike to the "Mud Volcanoe" is a must, but beware of the wild life! One of the few places in Alaska that I felt like I was in Alaska! We will stay here again.

The turn into the park is on a downhill grade and makes it difficult to manuever even with warning signs before entrance.Long dirt road to get into park, narrow bridges inside park.
Absolutely beautiful with creek running through it.
The owners were friendly and helpful.
Facilities were fairly clean but rather old. There are any number of places to go for fishing and hiking in the area. The nicest thing by far is the drive down to Valdez. I don't think I've ever seen more beautiful scenery anywhere.
There is a restaurant in town at the Caribou Hotel that serves excellent food.
