Place is clean and friendly with float trips galore, swimming pool, horse back riding, volley ball court, and a fully equipped store. I lowerd the rating due to the sites and scenery because if you go on week-ends be prepared to be jammed in like sardines. The only scenery you'll see is your neighbors hook-ups. The sites are about 50 feet apart. Week days' are great as there are much fewer campers, but man watch those week-ends!

Well, Im pretty happy with state parks in missouri, but we wanted to try this place because it was kinda close and had a pool. The pool was nice and clean, it cost a few bucks but not bad. They have lots of stuff in their general store, but pricey on the food items. We stayed in a "quiet" section of the resort, and it wasnt to quiet. People in the "Party" sections get loud enough that you can hear them screaming for hours. The sites in 90 percent of the resort were like sardines. The fire ring of the site next to ours was less than 10 feet from our camper, that would have been scary if we would have had neighbors that weekend. The restrooms were clean enough, but the mens restroom was awkward. The urinal was nothing more than a big diameter PVC pipe, attached to the wall horizontal, and the side was cut open. As for the toilet stalls, they were clean, but the doors were just pieces of plywood, that were too short on the top an bottom. you could see the tops of peoples heads, and almost up to their knees if you were to walk by. Sorry about the restroom review, but im shy in the potty, so I wasnt happy at all. Coin-op showers arent great either. On a good note, the park is very well groomed, and the staff are very nice. This resort is a haven for floaters.

We had one of the bluff sites at this wonderful resort. I was a bit irritated by the coin operated showers, but it was very clean. And there is a fee for the pool for campers. Don't miss out on the great country breakfast!
