We have stayed here many times before, but that is about to end. This is a good place to come in off the highway and relax for the night. However for the second year in a row they failed to honor Passport Americia, even though it was one of their times where they say they will honor it. When asked about it , I was informed that they changed their agreement with Passport, that is twice they did that after the directory has been published. It is no wonder they have dissagreements with Passport Americia. They have also dropped Good Sam, because of a dissagreement with that club. So no more discounts with these people, not evrn for returning clients. Our rate went from $29.00 last year on the same date( which was non-peak period) to $38.00 this year same date ( which was now their peak season). It was hard to convince the other 2 overnight campers that it was peak season. We would have stayed longer, but their change in policy has made us move on earlier, and we will by pass this park next year.

Just got back from a 4 night stay. Not a bad campground at all. Pretty clean, decent views of area. A nice size river running through it. The only complaints are. No room in the showers. I mean the bath houses were clean and even tiled, but about 20" wide. How do you bend over with out getting stuck? And although the sites were OK. They did over crowd you in many areas. Stay out of #95 and even 96 to mention two. Very tight. I heard the neighbors on both sides snoring, as they probably heard us. To packed for my liking. ....

Campground is not "big rig friendly", low hanging tree branches, pull throughs to short, staff unfriendly,non-welcoming, and discourteous. seasonals act as if they own the place. Lack of privacy, sites very close together. Amenities average, but could be a better campground with some customer oriented staff and management. Does not speak well for,nor is a good representation of New York campgrounds. Would not use again.

Pros: Clean, on-site amenities, tubing on river was a blast, riverside sites, pool, playground, slow traffic in campground, store, friendly staff. Cons: Road dust, highway noise from the nearby I-87, low voltage power, sites aren't private (but great for a group!)
