Site is good and private. Beach is good for kids even though it is a little bit small. Washroom is clean.

Pretty little park, although busy.
The lower campround area can be mushy and moist after a rain, although being near the creek is fun for kids.
At our site we had reasonable privacy and were on high ground. Our neighbours weer loud and boisterous, but a visit from the ranger put a quick end to that.
The beach is nice packed sand on the river - perfect for kids. There was a small playground. There also was a newer comfort station.
All in all, enjoyable, and we could have stayed longer.

This is 20 minutes from my house and was a good place to take the kids when they were small. (under 9) There is a beach on a river. There are a couple good sites right on the water which was very convenient. I would not recommend for older kids. Not much to do.

Great atmosphere, awesome/clean facilities. The camp sites that we had we perfectly situated by the washrooms with not a lot of traffic. A little far from the water taps, but nothing that was too troublesome. The beaches were nice and clean, and for the most part quiet. My only complaint was that we had originally booked site 118, which was an electrical site. 118 was horrible and not worth the trouble. It's surrounded by trees so there are plently of mosquitos, the actual site itself was mud/soil, and the electrical outlet was off of the property! It was placed on the 'non reservable site' beside us so that others could use it. Quite angry about that. Other than that it was an extremely enjoyable experience and I would definitely come back.

Pros: Good selection of large, private, treed sites, friendly staff, nice comfort stations, playground, boardwalk.
Cons: Some sites open and small.
