A decent state park directly adjacent to the river, Bring lots of bug spray mosquitoes may carry you off otherwise. Lots seemed mostly level and there are a few pull thrus, wouldnt reccomend for a big unit the fivers that were therelooked to have trouble fitting. Lots and lots of tent campers with young kids there the weekend we chose to go (we have kids too)the bathhouses are a little dated but functional, no evidence of daily cleaning while we were there. Close to the main falls but unlike the other reviewers I would never try to walk because of the HUGE hill that leads down into the camp area ( note this is a Split campground, main campground is on one side of river , and secondary smaller campground on other .) we were in the main grounds Overall a good stay and would go again

Nice wooded sites, some in open sun. Great hiking, and beautiful picture taking. A shame you can't see the falls from the campground, you have to walk to them, and cross a narrow bridge to get to other side. Many signs posted to stay off rocks, disappointing couldn't get our feet wet, since website pictures showed people in the falls. Hiking path well marked and good workout. Our site had poor electrical and we could not run air conditioner with out being in red zone on our meter. Could not make toast and run coffee pot at the same time. Bath houses full of bugs & spiders. No place to really ride bikes except through the campground, not allowed on hiking paths. Great all you can eat catfish restaurant right at entrance that can be walked to if no car. Dollar General store and convenience store with in walking distance, plus a hamburger joint we were told had good hamburgers, but we ate catfish instead.

way too many ants. They crawled into the trailer . .lines and lines of them . .could not get rid of them all week-end. Probably only in hot months . .but they were such a pain. Host says they are problem all the time.
