To whom it may concern, My husband and I are first time camper trailer owners and we chose your location at Coloma/ St Joseph, MI for our very first time out with the camper. My sister and her husband who is also a first time owner as of this past year was going to meet us there so we can camp together. She called to make the reservation (3 weeks in advance) and see if there were 2 sites next to each other so we can be together all weekend and she was told there was, number 109 & 110. So, she reserved #109 and I called immediately after her and reserved #110. My sister arrived there before we did and she told me that there were people camping on #110. Since we were still a couple hours away I immediately called the office and asked them what site we were on. I was told #115. I told the woman that we reserved #110 so I could be next to my sister. She said, sorry, your in 115. Needless to say I was very upset and I hung up on her. When we arrived we went into the office and there was an older lady there and when we started to discuss what happened she was very rude and was talking to us with an attitude. Pretty much told us too bad and you get what you get. No specific site is guaranteed , that you are only reserved a spot. I was never told this on the phone and I didn’t appreciate her attitude. I am also in the customer service business and I would NEVER speak to a customer the way she spoke to us. Needless to say, this was not a very good first experience for us and were not very impressed with KOA. We were looking for a camper for a couple of years and thru our journey heard nothing but good things about KOA. Im having 2nd thoughts now.

Jumping pad for the kids is out of order. hot tub could be cleaner to make it more inviting. Therefore the price seemed steep.

This was a nice KOA and very well maintained. Sites were close together and it was crowded, but suprisingly quiet with a nice crowd of people and very friendly staff. There are nice amenities for families with children: pool, gameroom, store, mini-golf, jumpy thing and playground. The campground isn't too big so you can get everywhere on foot easily and amenities don't get too crowded. Only complaint I had is the price - the price/night is high and then they 'nickle and dime you to death' with charges to use everything.

Pros: No highway noise. Much more treed than your typical KOA. We were able to stay hitched up overnight. Cons: Lots of seasonal campers, so it had that quaint shanty town look to part of it. Our site was littered and could have been cleaned up before our arrival.
