The campsites are right on top of each other while there are no campsites on the other side of the road. Some sites have no trees. A very poor layout of the campgrounds. The area is full of waterfalls and the hikes are nice but there is to much noise from the highway.

Campers stuffed into one tiny area on this 1500 acre state park. No noise control at night and campers near us were drunk and very loud all night long. Office staff were very unaccomodating. They also charged an additional fee for one of us who came late that had already paid and I had to request a refund. Unfair pricing. No trash provisions.

Tight campground. Spaces only 20 x 20. Literally on top of neighbor. Staff was unfriendly and did not enforce quiet time at night. Very noisy all night long.

Pros: Incredibly beautiful gorges (gorgeous gorges!), trails and waterfalls, clean washrooms, cool swimming in natural pools under the waterfalls (and a diving board too!), small sized park, convenient to Ithaca, low rates. Cons: Sites shady but not private, too few sites with electricity.

Pros: The gorges were still gorgeous. Didn't get to use the washrooms now that we have our own so can't comment on them. Kids really enjoyed swimming in the natural pools under the waterfalls and playing at the park. Handy to Ithaca, low rates. Cons: We had an electric site this time and it was nice, but snug for getting the bigger trail onto it. Once positioned it was fine.
