Date of Visit: June 30, 2012 Great Provincial Park with some very nice sites. The escarpment/cliffs are amazing - and must be seen from the water (rent a canoe or kayack). Nice swimming area, and the Park Wardens are very present ensuring rules are obeyed. This is a great family playground.

I could have gone camping in my back yard with better results. It felt like we were staying in a shanty town. Bass bumping children screaming garbage strewn site. Overpriced firewood. Overall crappy.

the only the part needs is a genral store to buy basket food and ice, and a playground for kids other then that the park is well mantained with great scenery

We love bon echo, we go there all the time, the only problem we have is reserving sites over the internet, or phone.

Pros: See previous report, from 2002. In addition, the campground, despite being almost full, was very peaceful. What a treat! No radios at all, Cons: The odd car alarm now and then. Why can't people just not use them in the park?!

Pros: This was our first time camping in the radio-free campground. Lots of tree cover and lots of brush making for a really private site. Perfect! Cons: The site was a real challenge for backing on to. A few badly placed trees and badly placed posts that seemed to serve no purpose made maneuvering the trailer a bit of a challenge. But we overcame.
