This is a very beautiful and primitave campgroung within the state park system. The maximum length for an RV is 27'. There is a lot to do if you are a nature buff. It is right on the ocean and stays foggy a lot, so come dressed warm most of the year. It is really pretty with lots of hiking, mountain biking and horse back riding. There is a special section for camping with your horses that we did not visit, but have heard good things about. Be aware of mice and we have been told rattle snakes (but we did not see any snakes). The road in is very narrow with lots of trees and is also used by locals, so use caution. Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo are about a 15-20 minute drive away if you need a little more action and shopping. We had fun.

Received from Christy C for visit in Sep 2005
