Campground is very nice with trees and shade. Located in a complex behind the Best Western. Restrooms, shower, and pool shared with health club, but very clean and nice. Lots of things to do indoors within the complex, bowling, movies, restraunts, etc. Sites have a small cement patio, with picnic table. Unfortunately our patio was tipped, filling with several inches of rain water right under our steps :-( I10 and railroad nearby but tress filter out the noise quite well. Very convenient to Midland attractions.

This campground is great for early spring or late fall. They have many indoor activities such as a bowling alley, a game room, two theaters, indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, health club, restaurants, billiards, a lounge and indoor mini golf. The campground itself has 96 sites, all of which have full hook-ups. They are nice level sites, but there are hardly any trees taller than 10 feet. It kind of reminds me of a parking lot. The sites themselves are narrow and grassy. They do not have fire rings, but they are available for a fee of $2 per night. They advertise a lake with a beach. I think it's more like a black pond with some sand dumped on one side. The bathroom facilities were clean and are attached to the pool. This means that you share space with all the screaming kids goofing around the locker room. This is one of those places that are great for the kids and great for cold or rainy weather. We may visit them again in the future.
