This campground was crowded. All 200 sites were booked, but we expected that due to the area. It is located about a block from Silver Lake and the sand dunes. This is a very popular area for people with atv's, pwc's, boats, dune buggies, you name it. There's something to do for people of all ages. The park had a heated pool, laundry facilities, a camp store, and of course all those Yogi Bear activities. The sites weren't the most level sites in the world so take a few 2x6's along. They have fire rings on every site and require pop ups to use gray water buckets. So take one along or bring about a 10ft hose if you get a site with sewer hookup. Most of the campground is partially shaded so you get a break from the hot sun. The bathroom facilities were kept pretty clean even though they seemed busy most of the day. Next to the campground you will find go carts, adventure golf, bumper boats, an arcade, the dune town mall, dune buggy rentals and more. You and your kids will have a blast! Be sure to check out the beautiful Lake Michigan sunsets near the Little Sable Point Lighthouse and if you would like to see the dunes up close you can walk em, drive em or try Mac Woods. We really like visiting this area and this campground is probably the nicest around.
