My experience at Waters Edge was negative. Prepaid to stay for 1 month but lasted 1 week. The only reason I was willing to spend more $ than other nearby RV parks charge was due to being assured spot near river will be assigned after long weekend. Not so. Was given a spot with zero shade. Finally got fed up of being jerked around by the friendly staff and left. Facility is nice but you should expect to be crammed like sardines. This is strictly a business run by business people. Maybe if you know the right person you will be treated like a guest. I will NEVER deal with Waters Edge again and would NEVER recommend it to anyone. There are other options - Pines RV just down the road is about the best option. You will definitely be treated like a guest. No disappointments whatsoever - and A LOT cheaper.

Spent nearly 2 and 1/2 months here as work camper. It was an enjoyable time. The sites are large but roads can be dusty in the late summer. The only problems we encountered were weak WiFi (only received the signal near the office) and the sewer connection was very far away from the electrical and water hook-ups--required two hose extensions. The weekend breakfast adds a real family experience and that is the atmosphere the owners want for this campground. The local town is somewhat limited in resources, but otherwise, a great get-away for a day or week. Mostly caters to residents from Boise on a regular basis. Most campers are returning from previous visits.

A great family park on the Payette River. Canoes and kayaks are free for the guests, Saturday morning cinnamon rolls, coffee and cocoa (free), Sunday morning all you can eat breakfast for $6.00. Cable tv, wifi, close to town, fishing on the river or lake, 2 pavilions free for groups, and great owners and camp hosts.
