This is our second visit to Sands of Time. The park is simple but clean, and quiet. We do enjoy meeting the other guests so we are never bored. Nice location, we walked to the Village Grocery and Mad Crabber Restaurant. Most days we drove to beach ramp (2 miles) but did walk to the beach one afternoon. The site was Large 50 amps and good wifi signal. We have reservations for Sept.Owners really go all out to make sure you enjoy your stay. They have a lot of Martins who do a great job of keeping the Skeeters at bay. No bugs in park but a lot every where else. Our next project is to build bird houses.

I have always camped here. The staff is so wonderfull! and the bath houses are always kept clean. The last time that I stayed here we were in a tent and they were calling for tornado warnings. The owners came out and told us that if the storm was bad that we could say in there house, that is right behind the campgrounds. The beach is driving distances to ORV and a 10 min walk to the beach. Tent camping.

Simple CG with full services. Nice people. Phone line in office for your laptop. Our cost averaged 21.62/night using Passport America.

A no frills campground for people who like the quiet and to entertain themselves. There is no pool, no planned activites for the kids, etc. You can't even have an campfire at your site, but there is a fire ring for the whole park. We like this place for what it is, a simple RV park where you can go your own way.
