The site given to us was too small (almost last minute reservations)but owners were very gracious. Took us around on golf cart to pick another. Site 353 gave us a beautiful view of Frenchman's Bay and sunsets. Owners very helpful. Bathrooms clean. Most sites are spacious. Nice location. Very near to Acadia and free bus stops at campground to take you to Bar Harbor or Acadia. The only down side was mosquitoes every evening. Gorgeous place. You must see Acadia. It's beauty can't be completely shown in pictures alone. Miles and miles of The most beautiful place I have ever seen. Bar Harbor has shopping, restaurants, whale watching and sight seeing tours, fishing, an easy walkway along the Bay. Cruise ships park in the bay for them to come aboard into Bar Harbor. AWESOME!

Nice place to stay. Front reception very nice people. Staying on the water is very special, however you will have to pay $25 more to have your septic tank drained for you. They will do it for you if you book the service at the front desk. You don't have to be at your motorhome for them to do it. It's worth it to face the bay. Other sites have septic and will give you a decent view of the bay. Our site was very wet the entire week even though it didn't rain. I also needed leveling blocks under my jacks, but it was worth the extra effort to be on the water. Good amenities offered. Pool small

This campground has many amenities and can be categorized as full service. They even deliver a daily newspaper to the door of your camper. They advertise Wi-Fi, but this is through a third party vendor and does entail credit card charges. The front desk staff is friendly and more than helpful. This campground is located directly on the road leading to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.

We arrived at Narrows on Thursday, Memorial Day weekend. Having booked our site well in advance we able to get great sites (#83 & #84 ) on the water again over looking Frenchman's Bay. There were many site available to choose from at this time of year however when school lets out reservation are a must. There was something for everybody from RVers to tenting. The only down fall for the tenting area was it was little bit away from the restroom. However the restroom were very clean an well maintained. There is a heated swimming pool, large play area for children, camp store, a function room that had nightly activity, and the campground offers a shuttle bus to the village of Bar Harbor. There are many things to do in this area for the family. We took a ride on LuLu Lobster Boat a tour in Bar Harbor hosted on a traditional Downeast-style wooden lobster boat. Captain John was great with the kids teaching them about lobstering in Maine. We also took a scenic flight around Acadia National Park aboard Acadia Air. This was a great experience for our children who have never been in a plane before. The campground is minutes from Acadia National Park which is a must, if you only drive the park loop road or hike one of the many trail you must visit Acadia. If you can, sunrise on top of Cadillac is breathtaking the first place in the United State to see the sunrise. This was a great long weekend at the Narrows and Acadia I would highly recommend this campground to anyone that wants to visit this part of Maine.
