Great, been there for many years and many many more to come. Staff is great at the store, maintenance, and especially at the gate house!! They help with problems and so on. Lots of fun things to do. For example, skate park, tennis and basketball courts, mini golf, baseball and soccer fields, arcade, great food and store, local round top ice cream, pool and designated hot tubs for adults, hayride includes poping wheelies and firetruck rides, and chuckys choo choo, movies, bingo, teen dances, rick charette, Sunday breakfast with firefighters, karoke, Live bands, sauna, kayaks, boat and water bike rentals, also you can play some horse shoes under the lights after dark, plus the kids can launch some rockets. Those are just some of the many things you can do at this campground. All great things come with rules though. Like children under 18 have to be back to their website at 10:30, Noise level must stop at 11:00 for the respect of other fellow campers, bikes have to be at campsite at dark, BUT, what do you know you are even aloud to have pets. So any sized family and couples are pretty much guaranteed to have a great time.

We found the campground to be noisy, and smelly. They had a problem with the sewer. We found this site to be for the party crowd. The site we had was dirty upon arrival and the showers areas needed to be cleaned.

This campground was very busy and loaded with teenagers. They had a skatepark and arcade as well as an area where dances were held. The sites were average and not alot of privacy. The lake was nice and water was very warm for swimming. There is not really any beach so we just hung out on a dock that got a little busy. All the ammenities are there but if you are looking for a peaceful camping experience, then this campground is not for you.

We won two nights of camping at Lake Pemaquid Camping by signing up for a drawing at the Boston Camping show. These two nights were for the off season, however when we booked our site for the first week in July they honored the free passes at this time. Lake Pemaquid Camping is located on the shores of Lake Pemaquid, 15 minutes East of Boothbay Harbor, Me. We felt that the sites along the shore were the most desirable ones, our site #16 shared dock space with one other site. The campground offers many activities on the lake and at the campground to enjoy. There is fishing, boating, water bikes, canoeing, large playground, and much more. One of the added touched that the campground provided was each morning a local paper was left at our site. The bathroom and shower were clean however the showers needed quarters. One of the down falls of this campground was the lack of activities for teenagers, it seem as if every teen was hanging out at the game room as soon as the sun went down. We felt that this campground was great for a base to explorer the Boothbay Harbor region which we did most of the time.
