We stayed here for a full week. It was nice and we enjoyed the pools and the kids enjoyed the river/beach. We thought it was pricey and the staff was not very friendly. The site we were on was good size, but the ones on each side of us were VERY small (the camper behind us had its awning out and it was about a foot away from our camper). The campground roads were always busy with traffic, making it difficult to ride bikes within the campground, especially for our young kids. The noise from the expressway was very noticeable where we were. They had other activities for an additional fee. There are so many campgrounds in the area; I think we would try some place else next time.

We just returned from Lake George RV Escape CG and had a great time. The bathhouses there are very clean and reasonable size. I would go back again the staff were also very attentive, the sites are pretty big and its also riverfront on the Schroon River. I would totally recommend it.

My family and I have stayed here once a year for the past 10 years and it's one of our favorite campgrounds. The facilities are great and the campground is unfailingly clean. We love the pool and the river, and tubing on the river is always a relaxing highlight. The happy hour on the pati next to the poll doesn't hurt either. Lake George Escape is not as fancy as Lake George RV Park (also a GREAT campgound) but I highly recommend it.

Great Campground. Lots of activities for the whole family, like rafting in the schroon river, they bus u up the river and u land at the cg beach. I loved having a resturant on the grounds. The whole place was clean and well laid out. I think there was a fishing pond, and 2 pools, plus the river to swim in. The store was nice and I think its all been completly re-done since we stayed there. I didnt care for my campsite at all, but I did ask to be near the play ground, so it was my fault, I ended up at the last site right along the walkway to the pools, store, playgrounds, ect, lots of walking and biking traffic. They tried to move me but there was no site available for the number of nights we were staying. Again a very nice campground, probably in my top 5.

Lake George Escape Evergreen Resort is located in Lake George, NY a mile off interstate 87 north exit 23. Just minutes from downtown Lake George. With over 300 sites they had something to offer for all types of campers. I found that the sites with water and ele. were to close to each other so there was not a lot of privacy and the dry site were much more spacious, however these site had only port potties and had to use the showers in the main part of the campground so at peak times you would have to wait. The camp activities seem to be half rate with little participation. We pick Lake George Escape because of it location to the many attractions in the Lake George and Adirondacks region. We took advantage of the many discount tickets that campground offered and visited, Howe Caverns, Ausable Chasm, Fort Ticonderoga, Lake George Steamboat Cruise on the Mohican, and the Painted Pony Rodeo. Also we saved $37.00 on camping from their on line discount coupon.
