We have camped here numerous times and have had no problems. The "T" shaped sites can be a bit of a challange as mentioned above but the management is converting a few each year to back-in sites or pull thrus. (the "T" shaped sites were designed exclusively for motorhomes many years ago, which were not all that large back then). The staff is very friendly and they have assisted us a couple time when we had issues with our trailer. The campground is generally very quiet and most of the campers who stay here are repeat customers. The grounds are well maintained and the shower/bathrooms are spotless. The camp store has some very basic supplies (mike, eggs, bread, snacks and a few camper accessories). We find the campground is vary relaxing.

We have been tent camping here for years. Friends recommended it to us, but I couldn't believe that it would be quiet so close to Route 30. You would never know that a dirt road, much less a major highway is so close! Most importantly, the bathrooms are immaculate, like you might find in a hotel. Plus they offer a "Family bath", so mothers and children don't have to split up. I was concerned when the Hershey Corporation bought the campground a couple of years back, but the campground managers haven't changed and I haven't seen any significant changes so far. Jim and Dianne, the managers are terrific people that bend over backward to keep the guests happy. They could give lessons to other campground hosts! There is no swimming pool, but for a relaxing, enjoyable time, this campground can't be beat. I have yet to find a better one anywhere!

This is probably the flatest campground we have ever camped at. The T-site setup can be tricky to back into for an inexperienced driver. We were told on the phone we could just pull onto the grass and pull through if it wasn't wet and no one else was on the site next to us. We did not get our promised site (no explanation given as to why) but the one we got was even better in the end. The campground is not big so walking the whole thing is not hard. The roads are all paved. There is an old but nice playground down by the creek. The creek front sites are for tents, but you can still get a great view from the front row, and when we went in May/June the side closest to the amusement park was pretty empty. No trouble with noise from the park since it closed at a decent hour. Most people camp here to go sightseeing so there aren't any planned activities and there is no swimming pool. Firewood was very inexpensive when we were there and to DH delight the Amish sold baked goods at the store both nights. They also offered horse drawn wagon rides. At one point we could watch a farmer plowing his field with oxen right across the creek. We chose this campground because it was right next to Dutch Wonderland which was our main destination. It was very convenient - a short walk over. We took advantage of the preview option - buy tickets within 3 hours of closing, and then readmission for the next day. Came in handy with rain expected on Saturday - we were able to get three good hours in and then dodge raindrops the next day and felt like we got our money's worth. I liked that I could leave the kids and DH behind and take my baby back for a nap if I wanted and then rejoin them without having to drive somewhere. We could also have gone back to the campsite for lunch and returned.
