I booked this campsite after reading reviews on some other websites. The property is nestled into the side of a mountain about half-way between Asheville and Black Mountain. The hillside is steep, but not difficult to negotiate. The staff was extremely friendly, accompanying us to our site and directing me as I backed our pop-up camper into place. The sites are all gravel, level, well appointed, and everything seemed very neat and tidy. The staff take great pride in this, and actually blow the leaves off each empty site daily. There was plenty of shade, and although the site wasn't particularly large or private, we never felt crowded. The showers are very private and immaculate. The restrooms and laundry are likewise kept very clean. Few activities are offered although they do have a game area with pinball, video games, pool table, etc. The complimentary wifi worked very well. I can find almost nothing here, to complain about. We can't wait to visit again. I'll definitely recommend to our friends.

The interior road up to the campsites is a little steep but had no problem with my 34' fifth wheel. Really nice owners and a beautiful setting. Just a few minuets to Asheville.

We have stayed here in a 40' Motorhome and liked it a lot. The park is on the side of a mountain and you will get some good exercise taking your walks. The owners are friendly and the park is well maintained. The location is good--you are close to Asheville with its many things to see, such as Biltmore, you are also close to the Blue-ridge parkway, and close to the small town of Black Mountain with lots of good restaurants and neat shops.

Located in Asheville, NC this campground is very quiet and relaxing. It is built on the side of a mountain and has a mountain stream running through the campground. It is not a place to try to ride your bike though. The bathroom and laundry facilities are especially nice and well kept. All hookups have electric, water, and cable tv, some have sewage hookups also. A computer hookup is also available. The check in is located in the country store at the CG and they have a gate that closes at night in which you need the combination to get in after dark. There are hiking trails for the stout hearted and plenty to do and see in the Asheville area. They also have several cabins available to rent. We stayed there a week while sight-seeing and attending the Coke-a-Cola 600 this year. Very nice campground.

Loved everything about it. The staff were very nice & helpful. Lead us right into our site, since it's a bit steep being that it's in the mountains, that proved to be a big help.
