Nice park but they only offer w & e sites, no sewer. You have to use the dump staion which can be inconvienient if you are staying more than a few days as you would have to disconnect your motorhome and go over to dump. The wireless internet rates were totally outrageous $15.00 for 24 hours. They probably don't get too many people signing up for that. Most campgrounds offer it for free. The grounds are lovely and they have a nice pool and clean facilities, laundry etc.but it was a disappointment for the internet rates to be so high.

Very clean area. Nice playground for kids. Very helpfull staff. This is one of the best campgrounds I have stayed at. We stayed here in August of 2004 as well as August of 2005.

The Horse Park is a very nice campground especially for families with children. They have several activities for all and special avtivities for holidays such as Halloween. I have stayed here several times and the biggest problem is that they will reserve the entire campground for large Horse Park events and this is not noted on their website or anywhere else until you check in.

North of Lexington, Kentucky. Beautiful open campground with large paved back-in sites, water and electric with dump station. Modem hook-up in office. Washing RV OK. No reservations. Select and park in a site, then register at office. Campground loops for biking and walking. Near Kentucky Horse Park, University of Kentucky, Toyota Manufacturing Plant, Keeneland Race Track, State Capitol, Kentucky History Museum. This campground is a must if in the area. (In season $25 a night, $20 for seniors - Off season, no water, $19 a night, $16.50 for seniors.)
