me ans my husband like it very well at this park. it is good for kids and everyone is nice . we have been several times. they have a nice pool. although i do think that if you are camping that you should get into to pool free. it should be included in the price of camping . they are the only ones that charge that we have been too.most sites are ok. some a little rough

Nice SP, lots of trails, history on site, thought pool should have been included in fee for campers-would have cost us $10 to use, some sites very nice, level, spacious, others not so nice and very unlevel-don't recommend sites in back for long pull throughs. Young staff not too interested in doing there jobs but friendly. Orginal KFC in Corbin, worth a trip if this interested you. Good stop for a few days.

Overall, I was pleased with Levi Jackson State Park. The campground was clean and well paved. We were in the last site in the B section and it wasn't level at all, but most of the other sites looked relatively level. Most sites are too close to one another but there are a few that are sort of isolated. The guy working at the gate was not very friendly, but maybe he was having a bad day. There is a small museum and a mill nearby. My kids enjoyed feeding the ducks at the mill. This campground has a lot of things for children to do. Will probably go back again if we can get a different site. Also, campground is pet friendly.

Pull-thrus and back-ins, paved sites, water and electric, dump station, beautiful shaded campground, planned activities in season, near town of Corbin with shopping and restaurants. Moderate price.
