We camped in the Riverside Campground. Our site was nice and spacious and very easy to get into. These are electric only sites but they have a water filling station and dump area which both are convenient. The river is awesome! They do have a swimming pool and lake fishing area over in the other campground but it is several miles away. Watoga is DEEP in the heart of WV and depending on the road you travel you may be in for a drive. But it was worth it to us.

Watoga has two seperate campgrounds. Beaver
Creek Campground has 38 sites and is located eight miles south of Huntersville, near the park's north entrance. Riverside
Campground has 50 sites along the picturesque Greenbrier River near the western entrance of the park. We camp here all the
time and Riverside is our favorite. The sites along the river just can't be beat. Don't miss out on tubing, which is tons
of fun, plus the nearby biking trail.
