This campground is very convenient to Louisville, not many other choices this close. Staff very helpful, sites a bit narrow, but more than long enough to accomodate the longests RVs in the pull thrus. Restrooms & showers were clean. Elevated L&N RR track next to campground that runs around the clock, but no whistles. Worthwhile things to see on Indiana side of river, Ohio Falls SP, Marengo Cave, and Sportsdrome Speedway for stock car racing Saturday nights.

Very nice COE campground. Most sites could handle any rig. Some are very deep. Most of the sites are heavily wooded. 35-40 are lakefront and only partially wooded. Would stay here again. Pretty far from the closest store so bring what you need.

BNoneasically a parking lot, but can't beat the access to downtown Louisville just five minutes away. Easy access to/from I-65. Dinner theater and big Camping World just a couple minute's walk. Surprisingly clean restrooms and showers. Very helpful staff are on hand from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Guests may use pool facilities at nearby Holiday Inn. Wireless Internet works well. Since we were still winterized, would have been nice to use the "Kamping Kitchen," but it was closed up and out of order.

One mile north of Louisville, Kentucky, next to large RV dealer Tom Stinnett RV, Coach Care and Camping World, pull-thrus and back-ins, all sites paved, but narrow, mostly shaded, full hook-ups, cable, friendly and helpful owners on-site. Mini-market store, laundry, gas, diesel and propane on-site. Near riverboats, Churchill Downs, Slugger Museum, Kentucky State Fairgrounds, shopping malls and restaurants. This campground is just off Interstate 65 and near Interstates 64 & 71. Free modem hook-up in laundry (7 am - 11 pm). Good for overnight stops to a month or more. Daily rate is expensive, monthly is inexpensive. We stayed six months while Norm had two surgeries. The owners and staff were very nice to us. They now have FREE WiFi.
