Rate is daily rate. Paved roads and sites. A truly amazing place to park your RV. The campground may not have the views, but a few minutes drive provided awe inspiring vistas. Good sized, reasonably level sites with picnic table and cover, though they can be tight if you have slides on both sides. At least half of the sites would have accommodated our 38' motorhome. We were there in the off season and had no trouble getting a good site. Be aware that there are no water hook ups. We will definitely be back to this campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great park to go to. We went July 4th weekend. Pros: - Great location. Close to the verde river with lots of fishing and a nice little area for the kids to swim in - Great facilities. Clean bathrooms, clean campground. Hosts even watered the trees on a regular basis. Cons: - Ants. During the summer months, southern AZ has lots of ants. It seems like cottonwood is included in that infestation. They didnt seem to be agressive, but they were still all over the place. - heat. While 93 is better than 113, it is still hot out during the day. I would recommend this campground when its not so hot out, but not cold yet.

We stayed here in April 2006. The picture is of site #6. It was a tad small for our rig and I had to do some creative leveling work but other than that it was a great site. I walked around the campground one morning when most sites had been vacated and ranked them for my use next time we decide to visit. My criteria rely heavily on view, distance from other sites and some other intangibles that I probably can't define with words. Any way, this is my ranking: 11, 1, 15, 9, 17.

Really liked this campground. Electric hook-ups. Water available, but they appreciate you arriving with full water tanks. Flush toilets, hot water, no showers. There are shelters built around each picnic table with storage walls for outside items. Pinyon and cedars scattered around the CG, but any shade is from the shelters. Fantastic views from the park on all sides. CG is sheltered a bit on the north side of a hill. Would definitely go there again.
