Great campgrounds. Loved the set up, easy access..UNTIl 8:30 p.m. when the TRAINS start and RUN ALL NIGHT...every 45 minutes another runs by and right across from the enrance is a crossing where the WHISTLE blows and echoes off the mountains. The highyway noise from I-40 is pretty bas also.
Aside from not getting more than 45 minures sleep at any one time, the KOA is clean, well equipped and has activities for families.

Great campground, people that run it are super nice and very helpful. I like it when an associate leads you to the site and helps you get in that site. This not true of all KOA's. Facilities were clean and well kept.

This campground, which is a KOA President's Award winner, is located halfway between Asheville (famous for the Biltmore Estate), and Black Mountain (a neat little tourist town with nice shops and restaurants). It is a very pretty campground, with two fishing lakes on the property, and the Swannanoa river running through it. It is a very pleasant place to camp.
