Always met with a smile at this campground! We made in an annual trip. Great sites near playgrounds for the kids as well as the pool. Wifi & Blueberries what more could you ask for.

I love this campground, clean and paved roads, nice pool and plenty of clean bathrooms. Any type of site that you want from tenting to big RV. Close to Arcadia and free buses that take you to all parts of Arcadia and Bar Harbor.

WOW!! What a big disappointment. Staff at the Bar Harbor Campground are less than friendly. We will never camp at this campground again. It's nice to go camping where the people have a personality. Not at this campground. The staff and owners lack the personal skills that are needed when working with the public. We moved to Hadley's Point Campground and it was the best move we could have done.

We camp here often, we love it! The pool is nice, the bathrooms are cleaned daily and you pick your own spot! The kids love the paved roads for biking and scooters.

We enjoyed our stay here but wish we could have had an ocean view. A sign at office states 7 day limit but the RVs near the water were there more than 7 days. Sites are first-come and you find your own spot. We couldn't find anything with full service. Most lots are unlevel but not a problem. WIFI is only assessible near the office so you must sit in your car or bench to have service. We were there during blueberry season and you can pick all the blueberries you want. Whatever you do don't disconnect your vehicle at entrance or the office will come out and get after you. Depending on the spot you find there aren't convenient disconnect spots. Would stay here again due to the proximity to Acadia. We used the park transportation--we had to sometimes wait for three buses if we got a late start (10-noon) since we were the last stop in before the park.

Bar Harbor Campground is perfect for people with large motorhomes. There were several large MH's there when we visited and they had a section specifically for them. The only drawback to this park is that they do not take reservations.

Very unfriendly and rude woman at registration, all sites unlevel. No credit cards or checks, cash only. Expensive.

No credit cards and no reservations. Nice pool and laundry. Polite staff. Some sites are VERY unlevel but many are very nice. Have both wooded and ocean view. You pick your own site. We were there kind of off season and arrived on a Thurs. Plenty of available sites. Walk to a resturant and mini-golf.

Bar Harbor Campground does not take reservations, which can be a bit scary since the summer is so busy here. But we found a place at the end of August, no problem. This is a pretty basic park, but clean. And very close to the National Park and downtown Bar Harbor.
