A teriffic overnight stop for those traveling the I 95 corridor. Very easy on/off for the interstate. Level, paved sites, many pull thrus, and clean facilities. In addition, several restaurants from inexpensive to decent steakhouse and campers have free access to very nice indoor pool complex at the adjacent motel. Several gas stations and decent camping needs at the general store. Surprizingly decent considering the tackiness of South of the Border. Cheap too for the East Coast - less than $20 for the night.

I have to admit I was very weary of staying here. I mean we have driven up and down I95 for years and always thought it to be a bit tacky. But we were meeting our Daughter on her way home from FL and found it to be absolutly wonderful. Such fun really. The sites are so large and all tree have grown trees for shade. The price is really unbelievable, at $17 night for full hook up. We will stay here again when we need to.

This campground would not normally be considered a 'destination' campground, but rather one for an overnight break from I-95! But, with severe cabin fever, myself and 20 yr old daughter took a quickie vacation and she choose this campground due to their indoor pool! We found it an easy access, and affordable at $19/night for full hookup, metered propane ran us less than $13 for a 20 lb. tank. Grounds were well maintained and quiet. Spotless restroom/showers, with curtained changing area for each. Laundry clean and now has instructions for use - (you have to load machine and close door before inserting coins). We enjoyed eating at The Peddler Steakhouse, and Sombrero Restaurants, and visited all of the tacky shops and finally after years made it up the observation tower for $1.00 each! My daughter enjoyed the pool and spa daily during our 4 night stay. Within easy access to Myrtle Beach, we did a day trip there. Walmart and Food Lion Grocery and a Dollar General are about 5 miles away in Dillon, SC. The campground is pet friendly and sites include a picnic table. 100 sites, many of which are pull through with full hookups on both sides. During peak usage some are back-ins which account for the hook up situation. Two playgrounds, 3 restroom/shower buildings and one laundry. Pedro's pantry is within walking distance and stocks food, drink and RV/camp accessories. We also enjoyed knowing there was security making the rounds! Suprisingly quiet for just off I-95/301.
