I was afraid for the safety of my children. After 4 hours at the campground, my oldest child was harassed on the playground and then later his bike was stolen from our campsite. A "tween" had my youngest (4) in a choke hold and his mother got mad when my son bit him to get away. When I heard older kids talking about getting guns to take care of the "problems" on the playground, I got my kids and went back to the camper. We left the next day, even though we had paid for another night. This is sad because the beach is nice. We have stayed at the CG for a few days for the last three summers and have always had a great time. Now there are just too many kids, boat trailers, campers and trucks packed into the sites. Preferential treatment definitely goes to the "all summer long" campers and not to visitors.

Nice campground with 150 sites, but not a lot of spacing between the sites. Free boat launch, path to private beach, and a really nice bike path right in front of the entrance.
