This state park is not bad. Most of the sites are rather small. We couldn't open our awning in ours because it was too narrow. The sites are very well spaced and secluded. Sites and roads are packed sand and can get messy in wet weather. The park has a very nice beach on the Gulf Of Mexico. There are nicer state parks in the area but this one is usually easier to get site availability.

My husband thought the white sand dunes that we could see behind our trailer was snow. The sites were small, but each one was very private. The view across the lake was spectacular. We really enjoyed the park, and the whole area.

This campground is for smaller campers. The road is narrow, the sites are narrow, the brush is not well trimmed, and we had to enter the one way road from the exit, (per instructions from the staff) plus use the empty site across from us in order to back in. It was the worst experience we have had in a Florida State Park campground. We have a 38 foot fifth wheel, FYI, and an experienced former semi driver atthe wheel.

A beautiful state park. There is a small campground on the site with large sites, some that overlook a lake. The shower house with flush toilets is large and was spotless the entire time I was there. The beach is a long walk away, but was never crowded when we were there. A great place!
