this area is a wilderness area and free, hunted and camped this area for many years, dont know how to rate it,if you like to rough it this is the place, there are no hook ups,no dump site that i know of,tents and small rvs like Bs and Cs would be best, bring in what you think you will need for your stay, theres 40 miles of dirt roads in the wilderness area, its about 12 miles off the main highway on dirt roads to get back to the ranger station at the dam at ceder river flow which is a 675 acre impoundment, the flow is 3 miles long and a half mile wide, canoe up the lake and find the river out let, follow it up the twisting turning river theres state lean tos back there and tenting area, keep a look out for the bear tracks along the river in the sand, its a 83,000 acre park, canoeing no motors,fishing,27 miles of marked hikeing trails, all kinds of wild animals in the area,i undestand horses are welcome but never seen any there, there are picknic tables at most of the sites, and there many sites along the roads and no one is camped to close together,no reservations needed, theres a state park on the western end of the wilderness area you can dump there on rt 28 along the chain lakes,if you like wilderness camping give this place a try.
