This was an excellent place to stay while visiting Grand Teton National Park. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for second time Sept 2008 for four night in 40 foot motorhome. It was just wonderful. Quiet and great space, rode our bikes and hiked some lakes. One of our favorite National Park campgrounds and wonderful central area to explore the area.

We stayed at Colter Bay RV park in June of 07 for 5 nights and were very pleased with the park. Friendly staff, close to the lake, close to the stores, no view of the Teton because of the trees, shady all day long. We even had a black bear come into our campsite one morning within 10 feet of our 5th wheel. We would stay here again.

I worked here for the summer of 2006.Although I'm a bit partial to my employer.I would still have to say the campgrounds are fantastic. They are well kept, clean and their location gives you fast and easy access to all the activities that are available in the park.Such as horseback riding with breakfast or dinner cookouts..A beautiful marina with boat rentals or sightseeing tours with or without breakfast or dinner cookouts on Elk Island. Also,Colter Bay is 15 miles south of Yellowstone National Park, making day trips to the park an easy non rushed thing to do with your vehicle or with bus trips available at the activities desk.

I have stayed at the RV full hookup CG. We enjoyed it very much. The rest room were very clean. The sites are shaded and private. Little pricy and noisy sometimes from big rigs passing. The picnic area, the lakes, the view were fantastic. However, on next trip, we will stay inside Yellowstone instead.

We love Grand Teton National Park, and go there every year. We have stayed at a couple of camp grounds, but Colter Bay is our favorite. There is a "fancy" campground ran by a consessionaire, but we stay at the National Park one. It is cheaper, more spread out, and quieter. We stay in a PU with no "hook-ups" so need a battery, etc. But that is great for us. Any where you stay in the park is beautiful, and you will have an outstanding experience.
