Very big campground with lots of things to do. Very nice pools, lake and lots of activities for the kids. Would not stay in the K section again. Big hill in this section and kids with bikes and golf carts would come flying down the hill. Very dangerous. Only pet peeve is the speed and amount of golf carts driving in the campground. But overall a very nice campground.

Ran a spring Rally here. Park modifications are done and are very good! 2 large pools, 1 kiddie pool, tennis courts, archery, boat, kayak rental, beach swimming, fishing, clean, modern facilities. Easy check in - check out with late check in available. Make reservations early in the year. Very popular place. Eric

MANY improvements to an already great campground. Entry road now widened and paved. 2nd pool just about finished. New Kiddie pool, Brand new tennis courts added. Newest feature is the Bluffs. An exclusive CG for campers 50 and over. The bluffs are 330 beautifully landscaped sites. 2 story main building with top floor all wood, gas fireplaces, reading room, Large screen tv, work out room, rec room a swimming pool and lap pool. Very Big rig friendly. Check out Danforth Bays web site for more details. Ribbon cutting ceremony I heard was to be July 7th. We nearly lost our three kids to the activities group in the CG. They had a blast. Did find that reservations should be made very early in the year. Sites fill up fast, holiday weekends especially sell out rapidly. Our favorite sites are C 11-15, B sites on Chocorua Circle and the wooded J sites on the back side of the CG.

Danforth Bay Camping resort is sure to please almost everyone. Whether a big rig or a tent thier sites are roomy and predominately level. Restrooms are immaculate and strategically placed through out the CG. The lodge is a very large affair and now bracketted by a large swimming pool and a new "kiddi" pool with 2 short slides. Check in to the CG on a friday night SHOULD be a nightmare with the number of sites BUT Danforth Bay has it down to a science with multiple lane entry and fast check in service. For the late arrivals your site reservation will be waiting for you at the front door with a packet of Info and map of the CG to get you to your site. Camping is available 4 seasons. Tennis, Basketball a huge rec hall that movies are shown in are near a safari area that always seems to have a large group from somewhere having a great time. I highly recommend sites 12, 13, and 14. they overlook part of Lake Ossipee and are easy to get into and are very level. other sites such as the S and L series sites are woody and very nice with a good comfortable distance between sites and fellow campers. A bit expensive but for what the CG has to offer it is money well spent.
