I must echo the July 05 review above. I tried to dump and found the sewer backing up, River was very low so no flooding problems in my estimation. We stayed in 1999 but it wasn't what we remembered or expected. There are campgrounds closer to us (Syracuse) that have the same amenitites for a little less money. In all fairness they do have a brand new pool (daughter said it was c c cold) and the staff was more than friendly and helpful, The camp store is well stocked. My wife calls me a camping snob but other places we've been have a crew to clean the sites as soon as they are vacated. Ours had hundreds of broken water balloons as well as burned out briquets in the grill and a dirty fire pit. In addition the roads were extremely dusty, it did rain and wash some off the truck and trailer. In closing if it was closer than a four hour drive we might give it another try in four or five years but I don't think so right now. Joe

After reading the other review i thought i would throw in my 2 cent about this campsite,we have stayed there many times in the past it was a place we would go to every summer, but not any more, the sites are about normal in size for a average camp ground, they were clean there, and the rest rooms were spotless, they had stuff for kids, playground and stuff, wagon rides, they would rent pedal carts for kids, and some things for the guest and intermaintment but nothing big, that was the noise the person complained about, never had a problem with sewer like the other guest but the area was flooded out that spring by heavy rains,i would think they should have got it fixed by the time the other guest visited,we couldnt use the AC much because of low voltage off and on the last year we were there, they did put in wifi at the park, and one of the owners wasnt all that friendly, the main reason why we wont go back was there new price increases, way to much money for what you get, theres much better parks around that give you a lot more for the same money, there over priceing themselfs,

Sites were very small and dirty. Lots of activities for children most at an extra cost. Pool was small and not very appealing. River was nice and children enjoyed it. Sand beach was nice. Evenings were very loud until 11:00. Noise provided by the campground not the campers! DJ blasted music all evening, if you wanted it or not. Sewer hook ups were backing up at many sites. Disgusting. Was suposed to be because of a spring flood, beyond their control. But by July how much sewage had been on the ground and why were we given a hook up as if there was no problem?
