This was our first visit to camping on the gulf. The staff were very friendly and were always seen driving around. The family bath house were always clean. The pools and deck area were clean and relaxing. We are planning on returning next year and highly recommend this place. The beach was approx. 20 feet from where we set-up. We stayed here in our Class C motorhome.

We have been going here for 4 years now and always make our reservation for the next year while we are there. Enjoy the friendly staff, clean restrooms/showers and the family atmosphere of COG. I highly recommend going. The beach is beautiful, plenty of things to do in Destin, Look foward to next years trip.

Park is located on the beautiful white sand beach east of Destin, level sites, some with concrete pads, full hook-ups, free modem hook-ups in Activities Building, near deep sea fishing, shopping, restaurants. Daily planned activities in park. Cable and hot-phones available. No washing RVs or cars. Non-C2C members pay anywhere from $10 to $70 dollars a day depending on season and if site is on the beach, near the beach or away from the beach. For our GNP coupons we stayed just yards from the beach on a concrete pad. Gated park. Inexpensive.

This is one of the few beach front RV resorts around. We have visited Camping on the Gulf many times in my 20 yr of rving. Gated, clean restrooms and lots of activities for the entire family not to mention Destin is a great family location to vacation.

This is a beach front campground located in Destin. Campsites are small and tight. Our campsite was so small that one end of our pop-up trailer was right up against a brick wall that separated the campground from the resort next door. The other end of our trailer was just short of the main road through the campground. Our experience here was not good. We were (by choice) right across from the restroom and showers. The toilets were frequently "stopped up" and the showers were dirty. One day we found the restroom so dirty that we walked up to the next one only to find the toilets there "stopped up" too. The only decent campsites were right on the beach, but they are right on top of each other. With our new trailer, we would no longer have to use the campground restrooms/showers. But we wouldn't go back here again.
