The grounds were well maintained and clean and RV spaces were wide. We traveled with 7 grandchildren and 4 adults. In addition to an RV we rented one of their motel suites. Shower facilities for RV sites were well maintained. The suite we rented was tolerable -older furnishings were not too well maintained. On-site store is well supplied and prices were reasonable for the situation. The front desk female staff were overall not friendly. ie,did not want to make another pot of coffee in the store and a male staff member took over and made it. We were there for 4 nights and on the 2nd day 4 of my grandchildren (ages 6-9) went into the store and each got one piece of the free candy (small wrapped hard candy in a barrel with a sign that says one piece free). They were reprimanded by the female staff for doing so, since they got a piece free when we checked in the day before. That was pretty trivial considering the amount of money we were spending. There seemed to be an underlying current of feuding among the female staff that transported itself into their customer service. They were very impatient at explaining campground rules upon checking in and we noticed they did not speak to each other. Not a problem for us, but we probably will not stay there again solely due to the customer service at the front desk.

What a wonderful stay we had. Beautiful campground and an extremely friendly staff. They were very helpful in all matters. Our room was very comfortable, and well taken care of. Great cleaning staff too. Loved the pools and the convenience of the on grounds cafe and Hunts Brothers Pizza. They even delivered it to our room. The new ownership is a vast improvement over last years owners. Newly renovated bath houses are super clean, the store is well stocked and reasonably priced. The grounds are very well kept. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family. Thanks Compton Ridge, for a teriffic vacation.

Our stay was for 1 week. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We have a 29 foot fifth wheel and there was easy acsess to park. The wifi worked well with a medium signal on our laptop. The pools were great and clean. The restrooms were clean and well lit. We are planning another stay towards the end of the summer and are looking forward to our next trip to Branson.

Compton Ridge Campground has recently changed ownership. We attended a rally in the North campground in a 29 ft travel trailer for three nights. When we made reservations, we requested a site that was easy to back into since we are new travel trailer owners. We were assigned site 24 in the North campground; it was difficult to back into especially since recent rains had created a gully at the front of the site and someone was parked directly across from the site. Upon our arrival, we asked that the gully be filled; it still had not been filled when we left. The gravel sites were not level. The sites throughout the North campground are back-in and are all tight to negotiate. The bath house is clean; but not heated. A portable heater appeared on the women's side but provided minimal heat since the main bathhouse door is louvered. Temperatures were in the 40's at night while we were there. WIFI and Internet connectivity were supposed to be in place when we arrived but only worked for a portion of the first day of our stay. Even though the WIFI problems were reported, they were not resolved while we were there. In the campground pavilion, not all electrical outlets were operable. The campground is nicely wooded and was quiet while we were there. We could get to the campground without going through Branson. We would only stay at the North Campground again if we attended a rally or another function at the campground.

We stayed in the main camp ground near the outdoor pool. It was a great experience and can't wait to go back.

Just got back from there. A great weekend. Very close to Silver Dollar City and not very far away from the Branson strip or Table rock lake. Good luck

Compton Ridge is the only campground we have stayed at in Branson. It is very clean and the owners are wonderful folks. There is an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, a playground and tennis and basketball courts.

Our family has camped at Compton Ridge for over 20 years. There are two campgrounds; the main campground and the north campground. We prefer the main campground. Here you will find two swimming pools, playground, basketball and tennis courts, a camp store, a meeting hall, laundry facilities, etc. We prefer to camp near the outdoor pool. The bathroom/shower facilities are modern and clean. Compton Ridge is on the outskirts of Branson, just a short drive to Silver Dollar City. This is an excellent campground run by a really nice family.
